  4. Oh dear, what’s the point in having an X5 of any type if you want to drive fast on the road. Too heavy, and too high to do corners it may be sweet handling for a 4*4, but it’s still got a high C of G, therefore slow through the twisty bits..

  5. you’ve obviously never driven a bmw. having driven every one of their cars you would know that the X5’s ‘C of G’, or as smart people refer to it as the center of gravity, isn’t a huge factor. The 4 8 performs ridiculously for a truck, straight line and turning.

  6. I suppose you just said it all. Probably just jealousy, I certainly can’t afford one, although I certainly dispute your claim that I’ve never driven a BMW, my daughter had the perfect (for me) BMW, a 330D. Fast and economical, light and not truck like..

  10. Saab did’nt have a V6 turbo,, Forgot to say that it has some tuning.. stage 4, BMW is ofcourse faster in acceleration 0-100km/h but in speeds over 100km/h its no problem :)
