wth are you are talking about? The chassis code has nothing to do w/ the displacement of the car. The regular e90/e92 still has a straight six, and even though the e92 m3 has two more cylinders than the e46 m3, the motor is actually 32 lbs lighter. That’s engineering.
whats the logic of bmw chassis codes? how do you go from e46 to e92? why do they just keep adding more cylinders instead of tuning the car to match the it’s CLASS. instead of slapping higher-class-vehicle engine configurations in there.. whats next V12?

M3 CSL is comparable to a 360 Modena….This CSL is supercharged so it’s faster than the M3 CSL, which makes it faster than the new E92 M3 coming out…..

Sorry- the e92 motor is actually 33 lbs lighter than it’s predecessor.

BTW the 8 series was a v12.
